Chris Martin, PI
Assistant Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience
I joined the Department of Psychology and Program in Neuroscience at Florida State University in 2020. Previously, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto, my Ph.D. in Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience at the University of Western Ontario, and my B.A. in Psychology at the University of Windsor. My research examines human memory from a cognitive neuroscience perspective. More specifically, I use fMRI and neuropsychological approaches to develop a deeper understanding of the cognitive and neural bases of long-term memory, how memory systems interact with other aspects of cognition (e.g., perception, decision making, motor control), and how we can mitigate age-related memory decline.
